Sunsets and Secrets of Sicily

Sunsets and Secrets of Sicily

The first thing you notice is the light. It spills over the balcony in the morning, golden and soft, catching the seafoam green tiles my father probably sold my grandfather a lifetime ago. From here, you can see the whole harbor of Castellammare del Golfo—the fishing boats bobbing on the water, the curve of the ancient castle, the mountains that cradle the town. This is the view from my grandparents' house, built stone by stone in 1973. My Zia still lives right across the street, and if you listen closely, you can probably hear her calling out a greeting to a neighbor.

This is where my Sicily begins. It’s not in a tour book, and it’s not something you can find online. It’s a feeling. It's the taste of espresso from the little bar down the street, the warmth of the sun on your skin as we walk to the market, the sound of laughter echoing in the piazza during our evening aperitivo. When I decided to share this part of my world, I knew it couldn't be for a crowd. It had to be intimate. That’s why I only ever take six people at a time. We’re not tourists; we’re a small group of friends discovering something beautiful together. That’s the beauty.

Our days are slow and intentional, guided by the sun and our senses. We are based in the heart of my family’s town, but our spirit is adventurous. We’ll drive the winding coastal road to San Vito Lo Capo, where the sand is as white as sugar and the water is a shade of turquoise you’ll dream about for years. We’ll dive into the glorious, beautiful chaos of Palermo for a day—navigating the ancient markets, marveling at the mosaics, and eating street food that will change your life. Each place we go, each meal we share, is a personal introduction. It’s the restaurant where the owner greets me with a hug, the boat captain who knows the most secluded coves, the artisan whose hands create magic.

Listen, this isn’t about seeing Sicily. It’s about feeling it. It’s about understanding the art of living well—good food, good wine, good company. It’s a connection back to your roots, even if they aren’t Sicilian. It’s the deep, soul-level satisfaction that comes from experiencing something real and true. Life takes you where you need to go, and sometimes it leads you to a balcony overlooking the sea, feeling completely at home. And I wouldn't change a thing.

My 2026 tour dates are being finalized now. I can’t wait to share my Sicily with you.
